Introduction to the Epping Forest Outdoor Group
The Epping Forest Outdoor Group is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year (2016) It was formed and still is a Group for those people who want to do a range of activities in the outdoors. We don't specialise but will try nearly anything.
We arrange something for most weekends, with walking and cycling being our most frequent outdoor activities, but we also have a wide range of social events which our members might put on the programme.
We are affiliated to the YHA (England and Wales) and we might go hostelling, camping or possibly stay B & B or at a hotel, either for the weekend or a longer period.
We meet on Thursday evenings to plan our weekends and to socialise, maybe with a talk, a quiz, a game of volleyball, or a variety of other activities.
If you would be interested in coming along to see what we get up to, drop in one Thursday evening between 8.00 pm and 10:00pm at Rovsco Hall, on the corner of Hollybush Hill and High Street, Snaresbrook, E11 1PE (just south of the Eagle pub).
