EPPING FOREST OUTDOOR GROUP The following day, on 30th April, after a few of us did some pre-breakfast bird-watching near the hotel, some of us made a return visit to the Great Orme during the morning. We travelled in the tram a way up the hill, and then visited the bronze age copper mines. As is often the case with our group - members who have misgivings about certain activities sometimes find they give them a go and succeed. Yesterday it was Paul on the bobsleigh , today Val braved the depths of the mines. We didn't meet any trolls and we were all happy about that. |
