EPPING FOREST OUTDOOR GROUP In November 2006, the Group paid its annual visit to Snowdonia, staying with Group members Mick and June at their Guest House, Bryn Llewelyn in Betws-y-Coed. This is a welcome break after the business of the Rodings Rally, a few weeks earlier. Mick and June organised two walks on the Saturday, one a bit more strenuous than the other, for choice. The shorter walk started from Llanberis and took in the slate quarries of Dinorwig and the ancient forest of Padarn, a distance of about 6.5 miles. |
