EPPING FOREST OUTDOOR GROUP

The 51st Annual Rodings Rally in November 2007 was preceeded (as always) by a lot of preparations for some months before the event itself. Apart from the planning, notifications, hiring of hall, etc., a number of days at weekends and sometimes during the week are used to plot where the checkpoints will be situated. The Group refers to this as 'Checkpoint Plotting' , and it is strenuous, fun, hot, wet, cold and painful! Bit like the rally itself, presumably. Some photos here to illustrate the checkpoint plotting and the pre-rally setting-up.
